Scottsdale, Arizona
Scottsdale has a lot to offer homebuyers, but finding the right home starts with understanding which part of Scottsdale fits the way you want to live.
From established neighborhoods and condos near Old Town to golf communities, country club living and luxury homes in North Scottsdale, the options can look very different depending on where you search.
Scottsdale Homes
I’ve worked in Arizona real estate since 2004, helping buyers and sellers navigate the market with local knowledge, straightforward advice and personal attention. Choosing a home is about more than square footage. It’s about the right property, in the right location, for your next chapter.
Living Here
Scottsdale stretches more than 30 miles from north to south, with everything from established residential neighborhoods and walkable areas near Old Town to spacious properties surrounded by the Sonoran Desert.
If you enjoy restaurants, shopping, art galleries and entertainment, the southern part of the city puts you close to plenty of activity. Farther north, you’ll find quieter residential settings, mountain views, hiking and communities built around outdoor living.
That’s why I like to start by talking about how you want to live, not just what kind of house you want to buy.
Neighborhoods
Each has its own character, housing options and amenities. Here are several worth exploring as you begin your search.
A great place to start if you enjoy having restaurants, galleries, shopping and entertainment close by. The area includes condos, townhomes and nearby single-family neighborhoods, with a more active, walkable environment than many other parts of Scottsdale. Even within Old Town, the experience can vary from one location to another.
One of Scottsdale’s established master-planned communities, known for its mature landscaping, greenbelts, lakes and variety of residential neighborhoods. Single-family homes, condos and townhomes in a central location with convenient access to shopping, restaurants and recreation.
An established, upscale residential setting in central Scottsdale, with gated neighborhoods, attractive landscaping and access to golf and recreation. Especially appealing to buyers who want a residential community without being far from Scottsdale’s restaurants and everyday conveniences.
A mix of residential neighborhoods including single-family homes, condos and townhomes. Established landscaping, community amenities and a convenient central location appeal to buyers looking for a neighborhood feel with access to recreation and the rest of the Valley.
In North Scottsdale near the McDowell Mountains, offering a different setting from the more established central neighborhoods. A variety of single-family homes, mountain views, parks and recreation, with access to hiking and the amenities of North Scottsdale.
One of North Scottsdale’s well-known master-planned communities, with residential neighborhoods, custom homes and luxury properties. Village-style amenities, a desert setting and golf-oriented living make it interesting for buyers who want community alongside dining and recreation.
Closely associated with Scottsdale’s golf lifestyle, with dramatic desert scenery, mountain views and a range of residential communities. Homes run from established single-family properties to custom luxury residences, many near golf courses or surrounded by natural desert.
A private, luxury residential community in North Scottsdale known for its golf and country club lifestyle. Multiple courses, private club amenities, custom homes and expansive desert surroundings, for buyers where recreation and social life are part of daily living.
Property Types
Scottsdale real estate includes far more than one type of property. The options change considerably depending on the neighborhood, location and price range.
Established neighborhoods, gated developments and master-planned communities. Some buyers prefer the character and location of an older home, others are looking for newer construction, updated finishes or a particular community setting.
Appealing if you prefer a smaller property or want to spend less time on exterior maintenance. Options near Old Town, in central Scottsdale and throughout the city. Amenities, association fees and maintenance responsibilities vary, so it’s important to understand what comes with each property.
Custom homes, gated properties, larger lots, mountain-view residences and homes in private golf communities. Luxury means different things to different buyers — room to entertain, privacy, views, club access, or a property that requires less day-to-day upkeep.
Homes with golf course views, properties within golf-oriented communities and residences tied to private clubs. One important distinction: buying in a golf community doesn’t necessarily include a membership. Access, availability, costs and amenities vary significantly.
Buying
I like to begin with a conversation about what you’re looking for, but also why those things matter to you. Those answers help us narrow the search to neighborhoods and properties that make sense.
From there, I’ll help you evaluate available homes, compare neighborhoods, tour properties and understand how a home fits within its price range and current competition. Once you find one you’re interested in, we’ll talk through offer strategy, contract terms and negotiations.
And if a home isn’t the right fit, I’ll tell you that too. I’d rather help you make a decision you feel good about.
Moving from out of state? We can talk through the areas you’re considering, compare housing options and make the most of your time when you’re in town. The goal is to help you feel informed about the location and lifestyle, not just the house.
Selling
Scottsdale covers a wide range of neighborhoods and property types, and buyers looking in one area may have very different expectations from buyers searching in another. That’s why I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to pricing or preparing a home for sale.
We’ll look at recent comparable sales, competing listings, your home’s condition and the features that matter to buyers in your particular market. Sometimes that involves updates before listing. Sometimes a few smaller improvements and thoughtful presentation are enough. And sometimes I’ll recommend keeping your money rather than spending it on projects that may not make a meaningful difference.
An online estimate can give you a starting number, but it doesn’t tell the whole story. Your home’s condition, updates, lot, location, comparable sales and current competition all affect how it should be priced.
Once your home is ready, I’ll help coordinate the marketing, showings, offers, negotiations and transaction details through closing. The goal isn’t simply to put your home on the market. It’s to make informed decisions from the beginning.
Why Tiffany
I’ve worked full-time in Arizona real estate since 2004. That experience has taught me good advice isn’t always about telling someone what they want to hear. Sometimes it’s recommending a different neighborhood, questioning a listing price or suggesting a seller skip an expensive improvement.
“Tiffany is everything you would want in a real estate agent. She has strong character, technology skills and knows Scottsdale like the back of her hand.”
